Google’s Gemini app, by contrast, now claims over 750 million monthly active users, Alphabet disclosed on February 4. But for Windows-focused organizations, the Copilot number is the one that changes budgets and workflows — it signals that AI in the office is graduating from experiment to infrastructure.

The two milestones aren’t directly comparable. Gemini’s 750 million figure reflects a broad consumer footprint — anyone who uses the Gemini app, interacts with it in Google Search, or taps its features on Android counts as a monthly active user.
